In my last post, I introduced the idea of being in the flow and what a positive addition it is to our lives when we allow it to work. In this post, I want to expand on this concept and how amazing the impact can be when you stop resisting and start flowing.
Getting in the flow state is all about trusting in the infinite higher power to be your guide. It is all about embracing the spirit of the creator’s energy and no longer fighting against it.
When you’re in the flow state, surprisingly, you take less action, but exert more trust…and miracles start to happen!
I felt every song to the core of my heart. I connected with it on such a deep inner level…
Even as I write this, I am listening to her “Time’s a Wastin‘”song and it is like I have been immediately transformed into another dimension of existence.
It’s like my body no longer exists and I am just love, and light, and peace, and weightlessness.
Every song on the album has that effect. Listening to the album was such a soulful and spiritual experience. It took me to new heights every time I listened.
For this reason, I just knew I had to be at this concert. The anticipation had been building for months, and I was sooo excited.
The only problem was that I didn’t have anyone to go with. I had asked several of my friends and none of them were able to go (college student budget, I guess…)…
But somehow, someway…I just knew I would be in the place to be…
Everything in my spirit confirmed this…
I had recently become friends with a very sweet young lady that was an exchange student. Let’s call her Sherry. She was very aware of my intention to attend this concert (as were all of my friends). To my shock and surprise, the day of the concert she came to me and said, “You ready to go to the concert!?”
I was like ” heck yeah” but I just knew she was joking.
She told me that earlier that day she had been out (the details may be a little off–as this was a long time ago) at the ATM and a guy called her over and introduced himself. He said he was the road manager for Erykah Badu and he was giving out free tickets to the concert. He wanted to know if she wanted to attend the concert that evening!
But here’s the kicker–not only was he giving away free tickets…they were front row tickets…along with backstage passes!!!
Needless to say, we went to the concert, sat front row, and had the most amazing time…We got to meet Ms. Badu and her crew. She was sooo amazing, sweet, humble and friendly.
We were able to take pictures with her…and I still look back at that picture (and experience) in amazement…
The following are three ways to know you’re in the flow of life–which leads to miracles:
No matter what, in spite of what it looked like…I never gave up hope. I knew that I knew that that I knew… I would get there even though things looked bleak.
I prayed about it and believed…and didn’t doubt.
2. Surrender/Let Go
Often times we pray about a situation…but we remain in worry and doubt. We don’t have peace about the situation…which really means we don’t trust God’s ability to intervene in the situation.
So instead of trusting and believing that God will fix it…and letting it go…and giving it to him and trusting that he will do what we believe him to do…we worry, and stress, and remain in a state of fear and worry.
But when you surrender, you trust, believe…and you let it go. The letting it go is key…and where the magic happens.
It is a sign to the universe that you are in ultimate trust…and you are rewarded big time as a result.
Staying in peace means you are not agitated and disturbed regarding the situation. You are assured and confident that all is well and everything is going according to plan.
It is when strong faith meets surrender and let go…and you are no longer worried.
When you are in peace, you may continue to take action..but it is a much more inspired action…but more often than not…you receive that nudging that the creator has heard you…there is no longer anything else for you to do…and it is already done.
When you feel that feeling in the core of your soul…look out…because something miraculous is about to happen!
Sooo being in the flow is not just a state of mind…it is a state of being and knowing. It is when you reach such a clear understanding of trust and peace with the creator…and you give it all to him with no doubt.
When you do…stand back and behold the miracle!
Can you recall the last time you were in the flow? What miracles did you experience as result? Comment below and let me know.
